Freiday, 3. September

North Denver Metro C++ Meetup – [Online] Many patterns in C++ today could change, and new patterns will arise. This talk will explore those patterns, explain how “deducing this” works, and show how it solves the problems that originally motivated the paper.


Tuesday, 7. September

Dresden Apache Kafka® Meetup by Confluent – [Online] Developing cloud native microservices introduced us to many new challenges. One of the most difficult is to build reliable microservices integrations and their data exchange patterns. In this session Jan Svoboda will share my 10 years of experience with building microservices and application runtime platforms with some of the largest European organisations. He will introduce basic principles of developing Java Spring Boot with Apache Kafka.

C++20 Interactive – [Online] We discuss deeply technical specifics regarding Modern C++ and how to modernize code up to that standard. Introductory and advanced questions and answers are interleaved with the goal of everyone getting some benefit moment to moment.


Thursday, 9. September

Utah C++ Programmers – [Online] This month, Richard Thomson will give us a guided tour on how we can write domain specific types in C++. We’ll take a look at facilities provided directly by the language to roll our own types and we’ll look at some library solutions that save us from writing lots of boiler plate.

C++20 Interactive – [Online] Modern C++20 Study Group – Questions & Answers Come join us, in our long standing collaborative community of dedicated programmers.

WordPress Meetup Dresden – [Online] The security expert Marc Nilius presents one of the most effective web application firewalls (WAFs), the “NinjaFirewall (WP Edition)”, and points out possible sources of error in the configuration and its use.


Tuesday, 21. September

Meeting C++ – [Online] The job fair is an online event where employers and C++ job seakers get to meet each other. Candidates get the chance to get a first feel of a potential employer, and can exchange contacts with those that they’d like to apply to. Employers should book their own table and be present with one or multiple staff.

C++ User Group Karlsruhe – [Online] We meet on the platform and form groups to discuss about various topics, from C++ to Rust, from embedded to functional programming.

C++TO The Toronto C++ User Group – [Online] This panel will examine the questions surrounding the ongoing role of the Standard Library and it’s evolution. Experts will discuss their viewpoints on what belongs in the standard library and how best to evolve the library and the process which defines it.
