Thursday, 1. September

Dresden Batabase – Dresden Database is a group all about database technologies. Will talk about NoSQL, RDBMS, Graph databases and so on.

Meeting C++ – [Online] Organizer found a news article on the first C++ Community planning session after the first CppCon. He’d like to revive this tradition, that has been carried on by others in between.


Wednesday, 7. September

Rust Community Stuttgart – [Online] A Place for Meeting, Show Projects, Discussions, and anything else we have in mind. Let us organize spontaneous Coding Dojos, Katas, Live Coding, Online Pair Programming by demand.

Meeting C++ – The monthly meeting features with a talk about Corolib: distributed programming with C++ coroutines by Johan Vanslembrouck. The talk will demonstrate that we can make a synchronous-style RMI application behave in a responsive, asynchronous way using C++ coroutines by making only minor changes to the original program.


Thursday, 8. September

DresdenJS.io JavaScript User Group – JavaScript is better than no programming language at all without metaprogramming and first-class functions.
Every month we meet to discuss current developments and listen to talks and kick and chat!

Meeting C++ – [Online] The online C++ book & tool fair is an event format where you can learn about C++ tooling and books. During the event you are able to visit the participating vendors, see their tool demos and have a video chat with them. Attendees should register on meetup, the link to the event will be shared here, over meetup and on social media.

TYPO3 User Group – In our meet-ups, we place a special focus on TYPO3 applications, but we also cordially invite people with a different CMS background. Because our most important goal is to find the best solutions for our customers’ problems together – this also includes the connection with other technologies.

Rust and C++ Cardiff – [Online] This session we’ll be dipping our toe into the world of asynchronous programming in Rust, looking at the support available to us both out of the box and through libraries.

Agile Co:learning – [Online] This free event is intended as an open space, which we will moderate. You are free to choose the topics regarding new work, agile working, scrum, retrospectives, leadership at eye level, organizational development or whatever else comes to your mind on the topic of new working environments.

C++ User Group Karlsruhe – [Online] Meeting place is on the platform and form groups to discuss about various topics, from C++ to Rust, from embedded to functional programming.


Tuesday, 27. September

Software Engieering Community – Online] The topic of the presentation is “Explaining Technical Debt to Management” by Carola Lilienthal. In this presentation, she shares her experience from a wide variety of contexts and provides recommendations on how to leapfrog the communication barrier between management and development teams.
